Cambridge: B2 First

The B2 First and B2 First for Schools qualifications test all four English skills – reading, writing, listening, and speaking – and show that you have the language skills to live, work, or study independently in an English-speaking environment. Both B2 First exams test the same skills, but the Schools version has content that’s more engaging for school-age students (11-16).

In your B2 First course, you will learn to:

• express opinions and explain the pros and cons of different points of view, in both speaking and writing

• write clear essays, letters, reports and other types of texts

• listen and follow talks, news and media in English

• speak confidently face-to-face, share your ideas and present your arguments in discussions.

In your course, you will also:

• improve your skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking

• learn useful grammar, vocabulary and collocations

• get to know the test and practise all question types

• learn strategies and tips to help you do your best on test day.
