About the Course
The A2 Flyers test is part of the Cambridge English Young Learners series, designed for children aged 7–12. It’s a fun and engaging way for them to gain confidence and improve their English. The test covers all four skills – reading, writing, listening, and speaking – through playful, activity-based tasks.
In a Flyers course, your child will learn to:
Understand and use basic phrases and expressions
Read and understand simple texts in English
Introduce themselves and answer questions about their lives
Communicate more easily with English speakers in everyday situations
They will also:
Listen and understand more: Follow longer conversations with a range of accents
Express themselves in writing: Write short stories, notes and messages with connected sentences.
Grow their language skills: Use new vocabulary and grammar more confidently
Feel motivated to continue in English: Earn "shields" to celebrate their progress (there is no pass/fail in the test)
