About the Course
The TOEFL iBT qualification tests all four English skills – reading, writing, listening, and speaking – using an integrated, real-world approach.
In your TOEFL iBT course, you will learn to:
read and understand academic texts, then summarise and discuss them in writing and speaking
listen to lectures and conversations, integrating what you hear with what you read for tasks
write clear, well-structured essays for independent and integrated prompts
speak clearly and coherently, expressing opinions, summarising information and responding to questions.
In your course, you will also:
develop your skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in integrated academic tasks
expand your academic vocabulary, grammar and idiomatic language
familiarise yourself with the TOEFL test format and practise all question types
learn strategies and techniques to help you maximise your score on test day.
